PURSE'AVERANCE REVIEW

 Purse'averance is such a cute story told by our accessories-- the wallet, purse and a coat. The author Gwen. E Campbell narrates the story through these fashion favorites and different stages in their life are brought up-- the day they were bought, what they do daily and the time they were put back in the closet.I loved the way the story was narrated. I never read such a book where your everyday accessories narrate the story and I loved the way author pulled around. The whole story is very interesting and the main character in the story is the purse. there was this purse that was always sad and depressed as no one is buying it. It feels worried that it has a different and unique shape which is making it not liked by any girls. Finally "My girl" buys the bag!! "My girl" is the purse's way of introducing its owner. So the purse finds a new home to live in now..the girl's closet!! It meets with its new roomies -- the dresses, coat and all and they all become good friends in no time!! On unfortunate day, the purse was kidnapped!! yes, another lady who owns the same kind of purse mistook it to be hers and thus our hero is now separated from its beloved owner -- the "My girl". Finally, a man, who is very special to "my girl" reunites the owner and the purse to have a happily ever after ending for our hero--the purse!! All the way, while i was reading this book, i was imagining myself in the place of these accessories and i began seeing the life with their eyes, which the author was successful in achieving!! I kept wondering what if my accessories i push into my closet really have a life and what if they were talking!! OMG..they must have been calling me names because i am the worst person when it comes to organizing my closet! Well, coming back to the book, i was quite reminded of the Toy story movie while reading this because it had some similiar connection..where toys come to life and here it is the accessories!! I love the Toy story movie and so I obviously love this one!! It satisfies the cravings of the child in me to fantasize again and imagine how it would be if things around me come to life and begin talking among themselves!! This story is an expression of love and friendship. The conversations between the accessories, the wallet, dresses, coat and all seem very interesting and charming!! I love this cute and adorable story. I mean, who doesn't love that a girl's best buddies, the accessories come to life, have emotions, create such cute drama and finally a happy reunion takes place!! I always have a thing for happily ever after endings and this one is such an adorable ending. I mean, doesn't it sound awesome that a purse can have so much affection on its owner? Well, i want a purse like that :D In summary, this book is very very interesting and you have to read it to feel the emotions of these cute little accessories and see the drama they create.
