DIY ROSEWATER MIST FOR YOUR HAIR

Rose water has a zillion uses and this is one in a zillion ways to use it!!No matter whether you have curly hair, wavy or pin-straight hair, Rose water hair mist is suitable for all hair types and this magic potion will do wonders for your hair if used on a regular basis. I stress again on this point -Don't expect instant results with this, but stick with it, include it in your hair care routines and your hair will thank you for it in the long run.
Rose water has natural conditioning properties and it moisturizes your tresses. It promotes hair growth and its anti-microbial,antiseptic properties are good for your scalp too. It nourishes your scalp and adds shine to lack lustrous hair.

Here are the things you will need:
  •  A few pesticide-free pink/red rose flower petals.
  • Distilled Water
  • A container with lid to boil the water
  • Vitamin E oil
  • Rose Essential oil (optional)
  • A mortar and pestle (optional)
  • A spray bottle for storage
Bring the distilled water to boil in a container on a high heat and after 5 minutes, bring the stove to a low heat. Meanwhile, slightly grind the rose petals in a mortar to allow the petals to secrete the natural oils. Add these crushed petals to the boiling water and close the lid. Leave it to boil on low flame for 3-4 min and then switch off the stove. Leave this container aside for half an hour without opening the lid. After the mixture is cooled down, open the lid and filter out the petals. You will be left with a light pink liquid, which you can transfer to a spray bottle. Go ahead and add 1-2 drops of Vitamin E oil and 1 drop of rose essential oil. The amount of oil drops I have mentioned here is per 100ml. That is, for every 100ml of rosewater, add 1-2 drops of Vitamin E oil and 1 drop of rose essential oil. Shake it well before use and there you go,you have a new hair mist to add to your vanity, and the best part is it's cheap, fun to make and ACTUALLY WORKS!! Put it in your purse and carry it wherever you go. It acts like a multipurpose refreshing mist both for your hair and skin.  The vitamin E works wonders on your split ends and adds shine to your hair. With this mist sprayed on your hair, you smell like roses and come on, who doesn't want to smell like roses all the time ??
